Biography on Peter Hutton
Principal of HUTTON Real Estate

When I decided to become a full time Real Estate Professional in 1994, I had a basic business philosophy. This philosophy was, and still is, to offer superb service on an individual basis and to develop a loyal client base. These clients would not only consider me their personal Real Estate Specialist, but would also have the confidence to refer me to their friends, relatives, neighbours and business associates.

13 years later, with approximately 150 Million Dollars in property sales and numerous personal achievement behind me, I still subscribe to the same original philosophy. As a result, over half of my total business (listings) so far in 2007 has come from either repeat customers or referrals.

Before starting my career in Real Estate, I spent 10 years in the Australian Wool Industry as a Senior Commodity Trader, Wool Buyer and, earlier on, as a Valuer/Auctioneer. I attained one of the highest positions in the Industry of “(Greasy) Wool Trading Manager”, International Trading Division for Dalgety.

This prior career experience, my wealth of experience and knowledge combined with the most recent computer-based technology, enables me to develop, implement and provide our clients with many unique and innovative services that are not normally offered by real estate practitioners.

However, we prefer to emphasise to you our experience, knowledge and skills as well as the tenacity, patience and eye for detail to deliver the following:

We have:

1/ the time, energy, technology and contacts to do your home searches, negotiations, inspections, and contract preparation.

2/ the ability to quickly locate properties for sale in your desired area that match your search criteria.

3/ access and time to gather information about local schools, zoning, utilities, land use plans for your selected area.

Expert Knowledge in Areas that Add Value

We have:

5/ knowledge in how to handle the situation if you have a home to sell before you can close on your next home.

6/ knowledge in what appliances, fixtures, window treatments etc. should be included in the purchase price of a home.

7/ knowledge in what to look for when viewing a home, including the tell tale signs a home may have a problem. However, we strongly recommend buyers engage a properly licensed/experienced builder to conduct a buyer’s inspection prior to purchasing any property.
